MAYOR'S OFFICE ENLARGEMENT IN RIVAS-VACIAMADRID, MADRID

The enlargement of the mayor´s office in Rivas-Vaciamadrid has been projected taking into account the necessity of creating a large civic square as an access to the current building, the Cultural Center and the mall. The building articulates different sections volumetrically around a three-level atrium with a glass roof, the spatial heart of the enlargement. The formal style used is a continuation of the current building, but in a simplified way.
